  • Job Details
  • -Position / Specialty: PCU - Gen 8 Acute (Mixed unit PCU, Med Surg Tele and Med Surg travelers will have all levels)
  • -Start date: Every Other week on Tuesdays
  • -Ratios: 1:4 all shifts
  • -Years of experience REQ: 1 year
  • -First-timers accepted: No
  • -Weekend REQ: Yes- every other
  • -Patient Age Group: Adults and Geriatrics
  • -Patient Diagnoses: Stroke, MS, Seizures, Myasthenia gravis, Other neurological issues, Craniotomies, Brain masses
  • -Special Procedures/Unit Details: LP's - ***Mixed unit PCU, Med Surg Tele and Med Surg
  • -Work Setting: Telemetry and High flow Required
  • -Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency Response: Interpretation of dysrhythmias and management of dysrhythmias
  • -IV Therapy/Phlebotomy: Peripheral Line Care/Management
  • -Neurological/Psychiatric: CVA and Pre/Post neurosurgery
  • -Respiratory/Thoracic: Nasal Cannula and Non-invasive airway management
  • -Computerized Charting: EPIC, Required
  • -Teaching Hospital Experience required

      • Schedule Information
      • -Guaranteed Hours: 36 hour with the possibility of picking up an extra shift each week if available
      • -Open to accommodating block schedule? No
      • -Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes - Floating within service line, floating between Toledo, Flower, Bay Park, & Wildwood facilities as needed.
      • -Float Units: Neuro/ Stroke, Cardiac, Orthopedic, Trauma, Oncology, General Surg, Uro/Vascular, Observation
      • -Schedules are subject to change based on staffing needs; two-week notice will be given by the facility for a change in schedule.
